Taking and reporting a Lateral Flow Test

• Please refer to the ‘Step by Step’ booklet issued by the NHS for instructions on how to take a test. Remember not to eat or drink anything in the 30 minutes before taking a test as this can spoil the test result. Wait 30 minutes once the test is taken before you read the result.

Positive results must be reported to school immediately (by phoning reception during school hours or via school@churchdownschool.com). You and your household and anyone in your support bubble must follow national and local guidance with regards self-isolating, and you must arrange a confirmatory PCR test to be taken by the person that tested positive.
