We are really proud of what our Sixth Form has to offer with a broad range of courses, excellent teaching, varied enrichment package and student support that develops students as individuals who will be successful in the wider world.
Learning is led by inspiring teachers with lessons in over 30 courses which are academically stimulating. Students are given opportunities to learn in a mature, rigorous and challenging environment. Alongside the gains made academically, our students are also equipped with a range of skills and attitudes such as independence, responsibility and resilience that prepare them for success in the wider world.

Next up in our Authors Series: SF Said! SF Said is an award-winning children's author, best known for books including Varjak Paw and Phoenix. His debut novel, Varjak Paw, won the Nestlé Smarties Children's Book Prize and has since been translated into 14 languages, as well as adapted for the stage and even into an opera. At the end of the academic year we welcomed Year 10 students from both Churchdown School and Gloucester Academy for an Aspirations and Introduction to Sixth Form morning. Students threw themselves into a brilliant range of taster sessions, including Business, Textiles, Media, Science, Photography and Psychology, giving them a real flavour of sixth form life and the opportunities available. A huge thank you to our Head Students and sixth formers who shared their experiences, answered questions and supported our younger students throughout the morning. These will be collected from teachers in September. If you are unable to collect your results in person, please provide Mrs Dinwoodie in the Exam Office with a stamped addressed envelope, and your results will be posted on results day. If someone is collecting results on your behalf, you must provide a handwritten signed letter including your name, candidate number and the name of the person collecting. The person collecting must bring the signed letter and their own ID. Results will not be emailed or given over the phone. Day 4 Today we explored the beautiful town of Sorrento before taking the ferry across the sparkling Bay of Naples to the iconic Positano. From there, we travelled along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, taking in some of the most incredible scenery Italy has to offer. Day 3 Today we explored the incredible Baia Sommersa on a glass-bottom boat, gliding over the fascinating underwater remains of the ancient Roman city. It was amazing to see history preserved beneath the sea! This afternoon, we stepped back in time at the Flavian Amphitheatre, discovering one of Italy's most impressive Roman arenas and learning about the gladiators who once fought there.
