OUT OF THE CLASSROOM, INTO THE REAL WORLD This week our Year 10 Photography students are heading to the Black Country Living Museum and we cannot wait! This trip is all about learning to really notice: - the beauty in peeling paint, - the drama of industrial machinery, - the quiet stories hidden in interiors, textures and everyday details It's a chance to put skills into action, deepen their understanding of context, and explore imagery through a historical lens, while making links to artists they've already studied. Students will be capturing a huge range of themes including Texture, Text, Colour, Interiors and Industrial, often returning with 600+ photographs that will feed directly into their coursework And if the sun makes an appearance? Light through windows, reflections on the canal...great photo opportunities!
